The new year is for redefining a mission, setting and updating goals, and sharpening skills. The Riverdale Park Business Association will embark on that journey at its first meeting of 2020 tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 15 in Riverdale Park Town Hall, 5008 Queensbury Rd., Riverdale Park, MD 20737. The curtain goes up at 6 pm.
RPBA Vice President Dalton E. Patterson, Esq., an associate attorney with Riverdale Park’s Meyers, Rodbell, & Rosenbaum, P.A. where he specializes in civil litigation, medical malpractice and personal injury, will lead the meeting that will focus on RPBA 2020 goals, building the association’s membership and influence, and working with the Town of Riverdale Park in planning the town’s Centennial celebration in June.
Also set for discussion is RPBA’s letter of support of the general concept of Advantage Properties’ five-acre redevelopment project near the Beacon Heights Purple Line Station. The project one of many along the developing 16.2-mile light rail line that is expected to redefine development and spawn growth in two counties over the next three decades.
The gathering is also a great time for you to reconnect with important business leaders in your work sphere, and join RPBA or renew your 2020 membership. Lorena Vallejo, branch manager of Old Line Bank – soon to be WesBanco – in Riverdale Park Station is the new RPBA Treasurer and she’ll be happy to accept your check or credit card and take your 2020 membership application.
