RIVERDALE PARK BUSINESS ASSOCIATION MEETING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 2019 @ 6 pm ET
RPBA goes on the road Wednesday, March 13 at 6 pm! Join us for the soft opening of Banana Blossom Bistro, 6202 Rhode Island Ave, Riverdale Park, MD 20737. And enjoy its expansive menu at www.bananablossombistro.com.
Annie Ha Esguerra, the co-owner and co-creator of Riverdale Park’s new, fashionable Vietnamese fast-casual Banana Blossom Bistro will host the next meeting of the RPBA. The UCLA pre-med student-turned Hollywood make-up artist and now second-generation restaurateur will detail her four years-long quest to get a dining business off the ground. Her dream began in Los Angeles andbecame reality in the shadow of the nation’s capital.
Annie will talk about what it takes to open a business in Prince George’s County. She’ll also detail the hurdles she and husband Phil had to clear to win two important Town grants aimed at easing significant demand on cashflow. At least two town officials including Mayor Alan Thompson will be on hand to discuss the Town’s small business grant programs. Join Annie and the RPBA gang in an educational evening that will highlight "how to get stuff done in Riverdale Park and how to succeed in local business!”
Menu à prix fixe!
RPBA members have a choice of appetizer, main entrée, and specially drink for $20 (tip and tax included). If you are not an RPBA, sign up and pay the $50 annual fee at the door. RPBA accepts cash, check and credit cards. Seating is limited to 50 so please RSVP to Jeffrey Yorke, 301-502- 1243, Yorkedial@gmail.com no later than noon, Monday, March 11.
