Town Center Shops Could See Rolling Biz Boon from WABA Riders

The Washington Area Bicyclist Association’s (WABA) 2019 Cider Ride travels through town this Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019. Annually, 500-700 people participate in the Cider Ride, one of WABA’s signature rides.
The 2019 Cider Ride highlights many of the great opportunities for cycling in Prince George's County and offers three options - the 10-mile Candy Apple Route, the 30-mile McIntosh Route, and the 54-mile Honeycrisp Route. The Riverdale Park Business Association has moved its October meeting to the third Wednesday of the month from its regularly scheduled second Wednesday of the month due to the Yom Kippur holiday. The Jewish day of atonement begins at sunset, Tuesday, Oct. 8 and ends at sunset, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019.
